Try putting your tongue against your top teeth during the day. When done correctly it prevents you from bitting down. Also put your hands on your cheeks and swallow. Do you feel your jaw get tight? If so your swallowing wrong. You are using your jaw muscles instead you should use your throat to swallow. It’s hard to start but when on average you swallow 3,000 times a day you can see how it can impact your TMJ
